O’Brien County Ag Supply, LLC was up and running in their new heated warehouse and office facility in Primghar’s industrial park before planting season began this spring. Owners Brennen and Kristen Triplett and Joshua and Amanda Rausch say their business had outgrown their original location with no room to expand. The new heated building, located at 625 Industrial Park Road, allows for a year-round work season for certain tasks while additional office space and a load out bay provide needed amenities. O’Brien County Ag Supply, LLC offers corn and soybean seed, chemicals, fertilizer and custom applications to its customers as well as softener salt, dog and cat food, chicken feed, protein tubs, cover crop seed and grass seed. O’Brien County Economic Development Corporation (OCEDC) is pleased to support this project through an O’Brien County IRP Revolving Loan Fund Loan.
O’Brien County Economic Development, in conjunction with the O’Brien County Revolving Loan Fund Committee, has approved financing for this new facility. The Revolving Loan Fund is used to attract, retain or expand business or industry. Revolving loan funds may be used for the following: Land purchases, Building purchases, Building Construction, Machinery purchases, Equipment purchases and any other uses deemed appropriate by the RLF Committee.

O’Brien County Economic Development Executive Director, Kiana Johnson, remarked, “OCEDC and the Revolving Loan Fund Committee are excited to be a part of this business expansion. The Tripletts and Rausches provide valuable products and services to their customers in O’Brien and neighboring counties. The growth this business has experienced in the past six years is a not only a testament to the hard work of these owners, but an encouraging example to other entrepreneurs in O’Brien County.”
