Major Acquisitions in 2019 Boost Wells Enterprises to Number 2 Ice Cream Maker

Three major acquisitions last year rocketed Le Mars based Wells Enterprises to the nation's second-largest ice cream maker.

In 2019, Wells Enterrpises purchased Fieldbrook Foods, a Nevada Unilever plant and Halo Top. CEO Mike Wells says the company now has the capacity to grow.
