A master technician is the technical expert for their department. They serve the department in various ways such as establishing best practice, assisting with new product development, training team members, and facilitating continuous improvement.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to precarious places and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate requiring hearing protection in certain areas.
Required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
PPE is provided by SEKISUI Aerospace based on the employee’s position and exposure.

- Communicates abnormal equipment operation with maintenance and supports the troubleshooting process

- Collaborates with quality and engineering to review and provide feedback on work instructions, means and methods, and manufacturability issues
- Serves as the technical lead for new product development
- Oversight of quality issues & leads root cause corrective action for the department
- Encourages continuous improvement and implements changes and process improvements
- Participates in EC approval and training
