The Sheldon Chamber & Development Corp, along with ISU Extension Outreach, has launched this local leadership program, aimed at developing dynamic leaders. It is a 5-week program, with weekly sessions held at various meeting facilities around O’Brien County. More details are provided in the brochure.

Registration forms are available at the ISU Extension - O’Brien County office, 340 2nd St. SE, PO Box 99, Primghar, Iowa 51245.

Registration form and $25 fee are due April 14, 2014, at the O’Brien County Extension Office. Registration is limited to the first 30 applicants.

Driving a school bus in this day and age requires professionalism on the part of the bus driver. Throughout their careers, school bus drivers may encounter varied situations that require certain skills and talents. When these situations arise, bus drivers are required to be responsible and professional. This training will address most of the roles and responsibilities encountered on a daily basis, as well as some encountered on a not so daily basis, and discuss how to deal with them professionally.
